It’s But A Game
In the wonderful world of online marketing we see many different types of programs. Some programs are passive meaning that you don’t have to do any work (or very little work,) in order to earn money. (Such programs include Profit Clicking, Banners Broker and Wealth 4 All just to name a few.) Many people in these types of programs get so caught up in the excitement of the game that they start to rely completely on the merits of these “online games.”
These “games” as I call them can be very fun to play … I have made a great deal of money with many of them. (Including the ones mentioned above.) But without the right attitude the games can also be very dangerous.
Some people see these online games as their saviour. The path to their earthy salvation. They truly believe that these games will get them out of debt, put all their kids through college and enable them to retire in 6 months to year at the most.
When these programs fail … and they all fail eventually … these people complain to everyone that will listen. The blame is put on the system’s owners, the systems software or maybe on bad social media attention. They blame everyone and everything. But they forget. No one made them get into that particular program. The choice was theirs and theirs alone.
Then there are those that have an attitude that these types of programs are similar to playing the lottery or taking a trip to the casino. People of this type really don’t promote the programs themselves. If they do they make very clear that it’s just a game and that others may have “fun while it lasts.”
One can very easily make the comparison of these online games to the purchasing of lottery tickets themselves. What do the advertisers of the lottery promote … what picture do they paint? They paint the picture of the perfect lifestyle don’t they … not much different to the promise of many of these online programs which can be found online today. Does someone make you buy those lottery tickets when you get to the counter? No, of course not … you buy them of your own free will. And if you don’t win the 10 million dollars that you were promised do you go back to the store and start shooting … of course not. So why treat these online program any differently.
My advice, should you choose to accept it … is to treat these “online games” as just that. A game. No better, no worse then going to the corner store to pick up a lotto ticket or taking a drive to your local casino.
Now if you’ll excuse me … I have to go buy my ticket!!!

Guess what folks, We Did It!
Today is the 90th Day of our 90 Day Challenge. How awesome is that! Yes that’s right I have delivered as promised one article per day for the last 90 Days!
I know that some of you have have been able to keep up and read almost every single article that was published over the last three months. That’s so awesome and I thank you so much for your kind words and support. I do admit that the first month of the 90 day challenge was the most difficult. After that blogging just developed into a habit and became much easier. (I think that I remember writing something about when you do something consistently over a period of time it does indeed become a habit instead of a chore.) Guess that just goes to show you that this Personal Development stuff really works!
I have really enjoyed this latest challenge, (well maybe not so much at the beginning, Lol!) Some of the marketing tips and tricks which I shared with you over the last three months were new to me as well such as how to hide your friends on Facebook and a couple new Back Linking strategies. As I’ve said many times … I love learning new stuff … So this was a perfect balance of learning and sharing that new knowledge with others.
With that I bring you today’s Two Minute Tutorial where we will quickly go over some of our discussions which we have had over the last 90 Days

It’s been an interesting day. One of my websites has a pretty big tech issue with regards to images and I have spent most of the day trying to find a solution. Thought that I had found the solution at one point but then discovered that the issue went deeper then I first believed. I’m pretty good with WordPress, CPanel, FTP but I’m not a programmer by any means so for now I will have to move onto something else … like wrapping up our series on Craigslist Advertising!!! (Much more exciting I think!)
So hopefully by now you have placed an ad or two on Craigslist yes? Awesome!!!
Remember that “Golden Rule” that we talked about yesterday and I said that I would bring up again today? I may have referred to it as the “secret” of Craigslist advertising? Do you remember what it was?
The “secret” to Craigslist advertising is to be Consistent! Decide how many ads you want to place each day on Craigslist and then make sure that you place that number of ads every single day.
Excellent … in today’s Two Minute Tutorial we’re going to go over some other things to look out for when you’re posting on Craigslist. Also in today’s tutorial if you’re going to advertise on Job Boards don’t forget that Craigslist is not the only Job Board in town … It’s the biggest of course … but we’re going to give you a couple of tips on searching for other job boards which may also bring you some awesome leads.
So the Craigslist Take-away from today’s Two Minute Tutorial is that some of your ads WILL get Flagged. It’s not a question of if, but rather a question of when. Don’t sweat it! Just post new ads every day keeping in mind the suggestions in the video and you will always have more ads which are active then you will have ads which are flagged.
Top three suggestions for keeping your ads from getting flagged.
1. Do Not Overpost
2. Watch Your Headlines.
3. Post in an appropriate category.
Those Alexa Guidelines Again for other Job Boards:
Excellent Job Boards: Less Than 200,000
Good Job Boards: Less Than 500,000
If a Job Board has an Alexa Ranking of over 500,000 then personally I would leave it and move on to ones that do.

Today and tomorrow we’re going to wrap up or series on Craigslist Advertising. That doesn’t mean that we’re done with Craigslist forever, … far from it! Whenever I learn new tips and tricks I will be sure to share them with you right here on my blog so make sure that you come back every day just in case! By now you must know how much I value education and I make sure that I never end a single day with the same amount of knowledge that I had at the beginning of the day.
My Point? Always be learning … Every Day!

The Key Is Consistentancy!
Whatever Marketing methods you choose to focus on … be consistent with those methods and you will have no Choice but to succeed.

Awesome, I’m so excited that you guys and girls are enjoying the series on Craigslist advertising … it really is a great method to use especially if you are limited in funds since advertising on Craigslist is completely free for the most part. Craigslist does charge for posting in a few states … (I mean they need to make money too right.) To date I have only found a couple of states which actually charge a fee so I’ve just avoided them. New York I can tell you right off the bat is such a state so if you wish to post a job on Craigslist in New York then you’re going to be paying a small fee. The fee is $25.00 for a 30 Day ad run. Your normal Free ads run for 45 Days before they expire.

Yesterday we looked at how to create an Application form in Craigslist Ad Tracker for your people to fill out after they click on your image ad. In today’s Two Minute Tutorial we are going to cover the other two options for re-directing the people who click on your ad.
The website which I referred to in the video where you can pick up your own Free U.S. phone number with voice and fax is called K7.
Pick up your own Free U.S. based phone number for your Craigslist Advertising HERE!
If K7 is no longer taking on new registrations then you can also pick up a phone service from a company called Connect Me Voice. This company does charge a low monthly fee of around $10.00/month so I would definitely try K7 first.
Let’s recap. First we created our Image Ad using Open Office. Then we uploaded our ads to our tracking software Craigslist Ad Tracker. Then we showed you three different places that you can send your people who end up clicking on your ad.
So there you have it … we are ready to place our Craigslist Ad onto Craigslist (well where else did you think that we were going to place it,) which we will go into detail in tomorrow’s article and Two Minute Tutorial.
